Central Park’s northern end was nothing like its southern one. It has been developed and is much nicer today. 110th Street, also known as Central Park North between C.P.W. and 5th Ave is part of Harlem and I’m pretty sure this watering hole has been gone for a very long time…

I have always loved old signage and in the early 1900’s when a “Pre-War” building was finished, this stencil was used to let the less fortunate know where their entrance was…
