Will there ever be a day when the wealthy will raise their own children?

Photographing NYC for 25 years, six of them while driving a New York City taxi. Trying very hard to capture the city as life unfolds, meaning I never stage any of my photos! Also I am a close confidant of the immortal Dave Beckerman, (quintessential NYC photographer) and owner of the first photography blog in the known universe.

Those kids are probably in better hands with nanny’s.
Sad but true…
I’ve been browsing through this site, and can say that I’ve fell in love with it.
About this picture, I see nannies taking care of kids on he bus very often. While many parents that hire nannies are out of touch with their children, others simply have very little options. I’m just saying, we do not know the circumstances surrounding such parents.
I agree. If your career is more important, then you don’t have many other other options…
Yeah…..Although, now that I’m wide awake, I have to say, if someone has the money to hire a full time nanny, chances are that they can afford to spend some time with their children.
They will spend some time, but will change nary a diaper!
