During the later years of Robert Moses New York lost Penn Station and that was a great loss. In or around 1962 this small and seemingly inconsequential building was also slated for demolition, but somehow survived for another quarter century! I was thrilled when I saw this sign predicting the demise of this small structure. Even if I felt like the little building was Davey vs. Goliath, it really was just a case of something old surviving against the odds for a few more years than it was suppose to…
