This image may have been one of my biggest oversights, as I continue combing my archive for lost New York…

Photographing NYC for 25 years, six of them while driving a New York City taxi. Trying very hard to capture the city as life unfolds, meaning I never stage any of my photos! Also I am a close confidant of the immortal Dave Beckerman, (quintessential NYC photographer) and owner of the first photography blog in the known universe.

Reblogged this on hocuspocus13.
what once was sad and abandoned!
Love this shot!
Can I reblogged this? It’s cool and it’s a hotel.
Must of been something to see that building when it was new – looks like something out of old Paris with that great iron work ornamentation… great shot and document of old NYC!!!
I am all over this blog. I was born in Brooklyn in 86 but I grew up watching all of the 70s and 80s flics and I wish I was around for those days. I love throwback NYC photos. I’m a fan!
