Harlem 1985

Beautiful signage, but I wasn’t thrilled by the BBQ. Then again, what do I know?

Signed Print For Sale

You can buy this photograph of a rather impressive art project, that stood in Harlem in 1987. It was called “Higher Goals” and it was taller than the surrounding tenements. They took a couple of telephone poles and bolted them together. Its message was that kids should have higher goals than playing for the NBA, since the odds of that happening were as unlikely as hitting Lotto…

Hopefully the odds that I sell a print are slightly better!

Signed 8.5×11″ prints can be yours for only $80
11×17″ prints for $120higher-goals-print

“Spur of the moment boxing match” 1989

I guess some of the older guys told these kids to put on some gloves and settle their beef the old fashioned way.
