I feel like I’m still a novice when it comes to color…I enjoy the challenge!

Photographing NYC for 25 years, six of them while driving a New York City taxi. Trying very hard to capture the city as life unfolds, meaning I never stage any of my photos! Also I am a close confidant of the immortal Dave Beckerman, (quintessential NYC photographer) and owner of the first photography blog in the known universe.

This is a wonderful shot!!!!
Whoah! Where are the folks, Matt??
A very atypical shot from you. I dig it.
Nice light and primary colors gets me every time.
Todd, you have always mixed it up, and I have always done the same shit overt and over. Every now and then I do try and break free of my chains…
I added a link to your site so a few more people can check out your archives…
hey Matt-
it’s ok, the occasional color shot. But please don’t go off the deep end.
Bill, I really find myself swinging back and forth. I sometimes feel like I’ve been in Monochrome purgatory for my whole life and I just need to escape into the rainbow,
and other times all I want are my Mackie lines and Dmax…
Thanks, Matt. Really appreciate it.
If I keep going, I’m gonna have to overhaul that thing.
