If you like cameras and cars, then here’s the oldest camera store with a Duster parked right in front. I don’t know if it really is the oldest store, but 1898 is pretty old. I don’t really know if the car’s a Duster, but it looks like one…

  1. I lived in New York City (Queens) from 1957 till 1971 and bought my first low cost Kodak 8mm movie camera with three lens turret there. Didn’t think the store still existed.
    Three years ago on my 78 birthday I bought (not in Willoughby’s but here in Belgium) a digital P&S camera and am shooting away on the go as much as possible, inspired by you and some of the other “streeters”, although, and not surprisingly, without the talent and same results, but it’s fun.

    1. Had quite a few trips there in the ’60s with my grandmother who was an amateur photographer and had something to do with my love of photography. I’m surprised that the store is still there!
