Photographing NYC for 25 years, six of them while driving a New York City taxi. Trying very hard to capture the city as life unfolds, meaning I never stage any of my photos! Also I am a close confidant of the immortal Dave Beckerman, (quintessential NYC photographer) and owner of the first photography blog in the known universe. View all posts by Matt Weber

Is there anything that sucks life out of you faster than a job that doesn’t enable you to live to your full potential?
TRUE, but I think every teenager should have a summer job which bores them to death. This way, when they find something they actually like, they can appreciate how lucky they are to not be stuck in a dead end job…The jobs I had before I drove a taxicab were so bad, that pushing a hack seemed like a pretty decent gig!
Lovely.
