Sometimes you don’t have to travel far to find something or someone interesting in New York. This fellow was doing his thing on my stoop as I waddled home…

Photographing NYC for 25 years, six of them while driving a New York City taxi. Trying very hard to capture the city as life unfolds, meaning I never stage any of my photos! Also I am a close confidant of the immortal Dave Beckerman, (quintessential NYC photographer) and owner of the first photography blog in the known universe.

Very good work! I enjoy watching your pictures. Drama and happiness…
New-York & your job rule!
I’m interested by America and its population. I make photographies too, but i’m not professional. I hope to live in New-Yokr, one day… That’s my dream. Not a fashion dream, but poetic…
I got a ZOO YORK’s tee-shirt from you ; the picture represents a yellow cab (I think), driving on a New-York street. In the background, we can see a Kodak shop. I enjoy it. I wear this tee-shirt to write (I write stories about the Big Apple) or to drink wine.
I hope to see you, if I go to New-York, one day. We could walk on Coney Island and take some pictures togeteher. And then a fast-food and a movie too!
I repeat : good job!
See ya.
Thomas, from France.
Wow…I’m glad you wear my T-shirt! I am flattered. Yes, Coney Island is a great place to see if you visit America…Thanks!
