Coney-1985! copyI’m sure I didn’t even bother to get out of my cab. I was pretty lazy at first. I think this would’ve been Stillwell Ave. and Stauch’s bathhouse in this picture, but I’m no expert. Had I a chance to go back in time, I think I would have concentrated on that colony of telephones poles, in search of an “artsy” snap or two.  I might have even dropped a dime into one of those meters and taken a stroll…

“Homeless and Fearless” 2015

They woke up a homeless man by kicking the box that he was sleeping in and insulting him, and he grabbed a homemade weapon of some sorts and took after the group.

Then I watched the group back down as they realized their joke had gone too far. The last time I saw one guy stand up to this many guys without displaying fear was in 1979…
