Photographing NYC for 25 years, six of them while driving a New York City taxi. Trying very hard to capture the city as life unfolds, meaning I never stage any of my photos! Also I am a close confidant of the immortal Dave Beckerman, (quintessential NYC photographer) and owner of the first photography blog in the known universe.

If you’re referring to Taxi Driver, I have yet to see it. Ever since I found out it includes classic captures of 1970s NYC, it’s been on my must-see list. Last year, I discovered a theater in Chicago was playing it on the big screen for a whole week. Unfortunately, I didn’t read about until several days after it’s run. Now I don’t want to settle forwatching it on a television screen.
It’s a great stoop. Classic NYC that takes you back in time. I’m learning to really appreciate sights like this in NY every time I visit. They are definitely becoming a thing of the past.
Come on Greg…How could you have not seen taxi driver? Rent it soon. It made Deniro a star and the street footage is fantastic…
