Photographing NYC for 25 years, six of them while driving a New York City taxi. Trying very hard to capture the city as life unfolds, meaning I never stage any of my photos! Also I am a close confidant of the immortal Dave Beckerman, (quintessential NYC photographer) and owner of the first photography blog in the known universe. View all posts by Matt Weber
Nice balance. And btw – Happy Father’s Day to you, Matt.
Maybe I’ll see you on the streets of NYC later this week. I’m taking my annual trip to Manhattan to partake in everything NYC. A little Broadway (and Off Broadway), a few museums, and a whole lot of street photography. I was really pleased with my photos last year. All previous years I was shooting color, but in 2010 I decided to go all b&w. The world came alive. 🙂
So…a thank you is in order for sharing your beautiful work and setting a standard of excellence. It’s because of people like you I’m inspired to create my own images and look forward to visiting NYC every year.
Well thanks…I appreciate your support very much and hope you have a great time in New york, and good luck shooting too!
Wow! Great work all around but something about this one just really caught me. I’ve been looking at all the different aspects of the photograph for about 5 minutes now and all I can say is wow! Great vision!
Thanks…I have a daughter and probably liked the shot for some of the emotion she seems to be feeling for her dad.
Great picture. It looks like four sisters hanging out together behind the man and his daughter.
