This is only the second well to do lady I’ve caught barefoot in Manhattan. The other one may have had a better reason since it was raining awful hard…

Sandy, I wish the barefooted lady were doing something more interesting as well, but I’m glad the others are doing their part…I imagine that squeezing one’s toes into those pointy shoes could be very painful and make any woman wish she didn’t have to wear them…It’s just rare for someone to take on NYC’s sidewalks for some relief!
