hey Matt- love the austerity of the Broadway local, black and white, clean lines, super strong graphic composition.
for the last ten days I’ve been looking at the 2001 photo repeatedly, don’t have sufficient words for that image. Would be an excellent photo to be remembered for, terror and quotidian happenings in the same frame, not something often achieved by a photographer.
Thanks Bill…Back when I started shooting I would rely on the camera’s built in meter, and then underexpose many frames. Sometimes this left me with nothing more than silhouettes. Of course in this case that made the image, even if it was an accident…
