Photographing NYC for 25 years, six of them while driving a New York City taxi. Trying very hard to capture the city as life unfolds, meaning I never stage any of my photos! Also I am a close confidant of the immortal Dave Beckerman, (quintessential NYC photographer) and owner of the first photography blog in the known universe.

Matt, this is wonderful. What I am really drawed to in this frame is the out of focus guy in the front.
The short guy is as important as the happy couple, you’re right…
The guy in the foreground is the trophy here Matt. I love the flirtatious couple, but this guy’s expression, as though he’s about to get all in your stuff, is outrageous.
Thanks Joe! Mostly people are astonished to see a lens pointed at them from 2 feet away…
This may sound backward, but I truly am happy to see so many interracial couples that look so happy together. I am from the Dallas/Fort Worth area and while I see interracial couples on occasion, I have seen so many in your photographs and it just makes me happy. I don’t even really know why, maybe because its something that I don’t see all that often down here in Texas. I absolutely love your work Mr. Weber. I’ve been on this site browsing for the last four hours, soaking in the many facets of this great All American city.
We have made a lot of progress but there are still a whole bunch of people who need to change…
