42nd and TS, I don’t know how to take the place anymore. Toys R Us and Chucky Cheese? Who would have imagined? Raise the rent on the little guy and move in the corps.
I’m sure you recall the old cigarette billboard for Camel or Kool (can’t remember which) on 7th between 42nd and 43rd. Smoke used to blow out the guy’s mouth for 20 years or more. For some reason it always fascinated me as a kid. I wondered if you ever snapped a shot with it incorporated into the scene in the past and if you have it somewhere in your collection. I’d get a kick out of seeing it and would purchase a copy from you. Strange, of all the things one might recall of youth I come up with a cigarette add.

I remember the Camel sign very well, and use to stop and watch those smoke rings all the time. I don’t know when it was taken down. I would have shot it plenty, but that was not to be…
