I took this picture on a day when it hit 100º and the Tri-X in my Leica actually started to melt or reticulate from the heat. I almost burned my hand when I touched the camera and I guess the film was somehow damaged. Maybe I just fucked up the development, but I prefer thinking that the heatwave had its way with my film…

“Leica Noctilux F1” Christmas 2012
A friend was kind enough to lend me her 50mm F1 Noctilux so I could do a few test exposures. I had never used one before. It is heavy and the one attribute which it has is that at F1 it turns everything but the subject, into total mush…
I like it but doubt I’ll ever have the extra $$$ laying around to buy one.
