“Dr. Revolt” New Piece For Sale
Fotosidan Scandinavian Street Photography Blog
A big thanks to Tobias Ackerman who was kind enough to have “Fotosidan” feature my work. Fotosidan is one of Scandinavia’s best “Street” blogs and it’s a drag that I can’t read the text.

“About to Board the B.M.T.” 2007
Two of a kind. Trios, and foursomes too, are some of the things that I am unable to resist photographing. I probably should learn better self control because recently I was tossed around like a rag doll by a stubby fellow wearing a suit. Maybe he had just been fired, or maybe his wife had called him a loser and sent him packing. Either way, he was attacking an SUV with his bare hands and I of course, felt obligated to photograph him punching a small truck! He wasn’t happy with me and luckily he didn’t mess me up too badly…

Central Park 2010
What better picture to start the new year with, than an “Action Portrait” of my dad taken during a stroll through Central Park? You can see that his strict adherence to the “South Beach” diet has already paid dividends! I just started a serious diet as my New Years resolution, a week before new years. Why wait?

“The 11th Man” by Andrew Gordon
Andrew Gordon, better known as Lester has just published his first novel. Considering he has an incredible sense of humor and has written dozens if not hundreds of songs, I’m interested to read this book. I don’t even read at all these days. The book is based on a photographer who I know pretty well, so that gives me even more incentive to read this book. The icing on the cake is that Andrew selected a picture I took at Coney Island for the cover…
NYC 1986
Old image of the city which seemed to be on the verge of disaster. The city of today is different yet also makes me feel nervous. You have all the wealthy people who not only survived the ’80s but thrived, and in the past two years, a whole new population of people holding empty coffee cups trying to “Live” in one of Manhattan’s most desirable neighborhoods. Watching happy dads and their kids walking by the homeless with $200 Christmas trees, has always left me feeling terrible…Same as it ever was.
