Photographing NYC for 25 years, six of them while driving a New York City taxi. Trying very hard to capture the city as life unfolds, meaning I never stage any of my photos! Also I am a close confidant of the immortal Dave Beckerman, (quintessential NYC photographer) and owner of the first photography blog in the known universe. View all posts by Matt Weber

What is the price of the print of :La Marionetta Pizza? And how do I order?
Hello Matt Weber,
I’m emailing to inquire about your street photo taken of La Marionette Pizza restaurant in 1985. Right now I’m assembling a small book of stories about New York, from the time I lived there in the 1980s. I have some great memories of Marionetta and would like to create an illustration based on your photo. This book is a private printing, of 30 copies for colleagues and friends, distributed to them free of charge. I am wondering if I might have your permission to use this photo to base my illustration on? Of course I’ll be happy to furnish you with a copy. I look forward to hearing from you.
