It’s amazing how different this corner looks today compared to the 1980s. The building and street is spruced up and much cleaner, there are a couple of trees next to the street and much of the graffiti is gone. Although there are still problems, overall, the Bronx is a nicer place now. There’s nothing glorious about the days when so many of these buildings were burned out rat traps.
