I’ve never done much commercial work, but I’m glad that I was able to supply photos to this band. I don’t normally listen to rap or hip hop, but this band wasn’t easy to label. Huey plays guitar and is the main vocalist. If Eminem or JayZ had huey’s skill on the guitar, they’d be even more famous and rightfully so. I never figured out why “The Fun Lovin’ Criminals” were unable to make it in a big way here in America. They did much better in Europe and I guess the British still know their music…

    Many of the pics they chose to use I don’t recall seeing on your site before, but you definitely established a mood with them. Beautiful!

    Have you ever shown your photos in gallery settings or public gathering places like restaurants or coffee shops, Matt?

    I know there’s a new Max’s Kansas City photo exhibit in Chelsea right now. I would love to make a special trip to NYC to check out!

  3. Alex…Thanks! Greg, I am noy into restaurants or other places other than galleries. I have done it a few times and the cost of setting up the exhibit usually exceeds the sales. If it were a place which were heavily traveled like a subway station, then I’d probably say yes. The MTA isn’t likely to offer me a station anytime soon…
    I spent many a night sitting outside Max’s waiting for people to come out and hail my cab…
