This might be the best subway picture that I’ve taken. Not because of the poster which of course is absurdly perfect. I had taken several shots of them and in one of the earlier images, they both were very aware of me and looked like they were uncomfortable. I really liked the composition though because of the way their arms were all over the place. By the time I took this frame, they had become oblivious to my persistent snapping and settled into a nice peaceful mood…This one is better.

just brilliant Matt, it’s like you couldn’t have staged this any better, one of the qualities of great photography.
Great frame in many ways. I liked the first one, but this one takes the cake.
It’s funny how bad an editor I am sometimes. It shouldn’t have taken me a couple of years to figure out which image was my favorite…
Outstanding Sir!

Well thanks Bwian!
You have a wonderful sense of irony.
Thanks Robin!
What do you shoot with?
Usually I use either a 28 or a 35 mm lens with fast film pushed to 1000 ASA
