Photographing NYC for 25 years, six of them while driving a New York City taxi. Trying very hard to capture the city as life unfolds, meaning I never stage any of my photos! Also I am a close confidant of the immortal Dave Beckerman, (quintessential NYC photographer) and owner of the first photography blog in the known universe. View all posts by Matt Weber

Well, that caught my attention…as did the sign over their heads. One in a million shot.
Sometimes I feel like that’s my favorite picture that I’ve taken…
It’s hard not to draw a mental comparison to Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra and Jules Munshin in “On The Town.” I subscribed to your blog’s feed only a couple of weeks ago (Joseph Holmes had linked to you), and I see, I think, close to a dozen pics daily. There are so many of which I’ve thought, “This one is definitely my favorite of his,” and then you post something too awesome for words…the middle-aged couple walking into Central Park. Very nice stuff, all around.
I remember that movie and Gene Kelly actually, stole the show from Sinatra…
