Photographing NYC for 25 years, six of them while driving a New York City taxi. Trying very hard to capture the city as life unfolds, meaning I never stage any of my photos! Also I am a close confidant of the immortal Dave Beckerman, (quintessential NYC photographer) and owner of the first photography blog in the known universe.

My brother and I, as wee lads, would go wild when we saw this truck driving from Brooklyn to the Bronx and back…I think the silhouette of the driver was particularly appealing…thanks for the black and white from ‘88…
It was always a highlight of my childhood car trips to Brooklyn!
My cousin was in love with the truck driver back in the late 1950’s.
The adults used to tell us the driver was going to get a ticket, “for driving off the road”!
