  1. Last night I spent a rare evening sitting on my couch. I was searching for MLK-themed television programs. The first place I checked were all the PBS channels…nothing. I don’t have cable TV, but surprisingly, I still have quite a few channel options. The only channel airing MLK programming during prime time hours on antenna television was Bounce TV. Regardless, it was an excellent program, but I thought it was a little disturbing and sad that MLK Day is becoming just another one of those Monday holidays where schools and federal offices are closed.

    • Greg, That’s a good point! Last year there was some coverage of the 50th ann. of the Dream speech, but this year, almost none…Maybe none.In four years massage coverage of the 50th Ann. of his death, but then what?
